"Happy" Lyrics
Song can be heard at www.myspace.com/chrisfedun
Hurting, fighting
Losing ground with every lie
Searching, hiding
Wonderin' why I even try
Look into these eyes, of a broken man
If you can, feel a thing
And tell me
Will I ever make you happy
Do you even know what you need
You're stumbling through the night
Pretending it's alright
Well it's time to turn the light on
Will you ever find what you seek
Could you see yourself in me
Look into your heart and tell me please
Will you ever be
Happy
Sadness, gladness
If there was sunshine you'd want rain
Cryin', laughin'
It all starts to feel the same
Don't you realize what I'm trying to say
Don't you turn away
From the truth
It's up to you
Will I ever make you happy
Do you even know what you need
You're stumbling through the night
Pretending it's alright
Well it's time to turn the light on
Will you ever find what you seek
Could you see yourself in me
Look into your heart and tell me please, please, please
I'm tired of the running
From the shadows of an empty room
Wiping off the memory one more time
There's a place I hardly recognize
I look into those eyes and say
Will I ever make you happy
Do you even know what you need
You're stumbling through the night
Pretending love is blind
Well it's time to turn the light on
Will you ever find what you seek
Could you see yourself in me
Look into your heart and tell me please
Will you ever be
Happy
Will you ever be
Could I ever be
